The Year of Delegations:
The next year after conquest of Mecca (9th Hijri) the delegations across the Arabian peninsula started to arrive to accept Islam. They asked the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) a number of things and requested to tell more about the Islam, the Quran and the Sunnah.
The arrival of delegations that year were so immense that the historians called it "The Year Of Delegations".
The Quran says:
"When Allah's succor and the triumph cometh. And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops. Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy." (110:1- 3)
