Birth Control:
{ I asked The Holy Prophet! "Which sin is the
greatest?" He said, 'To set up a rival
unto Allah, though He Alone created you.' I said, "What
next?" He said, 'To kill your son lest
he should share your food with you." I further asked, "What
next?" He said, 'To commit illegal
sexual intercourse with the wife of your neighbor.' (Narrated
by Abdullah)
Abortion:
{ I heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) saying,
'If abortion caused by some one it's Diya (blood
money) is either a male or a female slave*(should
be given to the victim).'
(Narrated by Al Mughira bin Shuba)
* Islam doesn't like slavery at all and prohibits men and women to
be made slaves. The above order was for those days when slavery was not
banned till that time.
{ Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) said,
'The abortion will dispute with his Lord when He causes his parents to
enter Hell, and will receive the reply, 'You abortion who are disputing
with your Lord, bring your parents into Paradise." He will then draw them
with his umbilical cord till he bring them into Paradise.'
{ Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) said, 'By
Him in Whose hand my soul is, the abortion draws his mother to Paradise
by his umbilical cord when she seeks her reward for him from Allah.'
